Hey all!
Man, this has been a busy month. After launching the Steam page for the game, I got an email about the Steam Summer Festival and I decided to make a demo for it! This caused a change of direction. I was sort of forced to to build a vertical slice style demo of what the game had done. Not a big deal, but this included a lotttt of playtesting and refinement. I crunched to get it done, but I am really glad I did! The demo is in the review queue and should be live soon!
Here is a list of some of the changes made, additions, and refinements:
Added a boss battle with Drasorin
Added a new set of levels leading up to the boss battle
Added a Return to Town option on the world menu
Refined the Status menu
Countless bug fixes and QoL updates
New enemy types
SFX and BGM level options
Menu animations
There are so many more that could be listed. This really looks like a new game! I can't wait for the demo to be live so you guys can try it out.
Going Forward
So, the next couple of month is going to be building the world out more, playtesting, building boss fights, and fleshing out the story part of the game! I have a lot of NPC and Shopkeeper dialogue written. Can't wait to get that added! :D
