changedIt's been a year now since we invited you to explore and cherish our beloved Porcupine. Today, we have a special message to share with all of you from a group known as “Critical Rabbit.” These thoughtful rabbits have something important to convey, so without further ado, the stage is all theirs!
changedIt's summer now, and a year ago, we launched Fall of Porcupine and it's been quite a journey for us. This was our very first game release, and we've been deeply moved by all your heartfelt mails, comments, messages, fan art, streams, reviews, tattoos—everything. We had no idea how supportive, productive and positive a community can be. We were also honored with four nominations at the German Video Game Awards - even for “The Best German Game” category (still can't believe that) - and two nominations at the German Developer Awards, which was mind-blowing for us. Everything started here…
changedI am Sebastian Hesse, Narrative Designer at Critical Rabbit, and this right here is a very early vision of our beloved pigeon doctor Finley. He's come a long way, hasn't he? And just like him, we have changed and have grown too. Fall of Porcupine looks so damn cute and cozy, but I wanted to address a topic that, in my opinion, isn't very popular or highlighted enough. This little fella right here was my way of expressing the issues we have in our healthcare system. The experiences of real hospital staff, whom we spoke with during the COVID-19 pandemic, served as a source of inspiration for Fall of Porcupine and I want to appreciate their incredible daily work. Last but not least, I’m grateful for such a nice team, to make a game like this even possible. I had one of the most happiest and intense periods of my life. So thank you to all the creative and productive people who spent their time for Finley and his friends. Maybe we’ll come back some day - but for now, our journey takes a different direction.
changedCity pigeon in a small-town hospitalThank you to everyone who appreciated our message and gave us a chance to shine a light on all those hard-working people out there. Thank you for playing and reviewing our very first game. Thank you for making Fall of Porcupine come alive!

I hope you had a great time in Porcupine. And if you haven't been there yet, pay the city a visit. And please say Hi for me.
