FAKEBOOK changes
The English Release Date for Fakebook Has Been Set!
Following our previous notice on the progress of the translation, we have been fully dedicated to localizing Fakebook.
And on December 19th, we are excited to finally release the English version of Fakebook to you all.
Translating Fakebook has been a big challenge for a small indie game studio like ours in South Korea.
Not only is there an enormous amount of text and images, but the game is filled with memes and comedic elements. Ensuring that the essence and humor of Fakebook are preserved while translating everything has been incredibly difficult.
Nevertheless, we’ve done our best to maintain the game’s integrity while undertaking intensive translation and localization work. We are now approaching the final stages of this journey.
In addition to professional translation, we have been conducting translation reviews with players around the world as well, and we are deeply grateful and thrilled to soon share Fakebook with many more players around the world.
We are committed to making sure that everyone experiencing Fakebook in English for the first time has a great time with it.
Since SNS has universal themes that resonate across many cultures, we believe English players will find much to relate to. At the same time, we think the unique characteristics of South Korean social media - culturally fresh and different - will offer a new kind of fun and curiosity.
Though we know there’s still much room to improve, we will continue doing our best to deliver a fresh and enjoyable play experience.
We hope you’re excited for the English release of Fakebook, and we ask for your continued support!
