changedHi, This is an unscheduled update, I broke something in the network code during the last update and have been forced to go early with this update. Apologies to anyone who has had trouble staying connected to the server for the past few days. This update Allows the game to be played on your own local server alone, Just you and the AI. Your character is interchangeable between Local and the MMO, You can build a character and set of ships off line and then join the MMO server when you feel you are ready. This is the Second last update before the planned exit from Early Access, Once I have launched the adventure layer and am happy with the performance of the servers I will exit Early Access. Thanks.
