What is “Kappa”?

  • A continuation of Chapter 1

  • You play as the lonely Eye again, entering a grotesque world ruled by the Kappa

  • Inspired by Ryunosuke Akutagawa’s novella “Kappa” —its reflections on society and existence are woven into the story and atmosphere

  • Compared to the first chapter, this one adds more story background

Current Status

  • ✅ All content completed (July 2025)

  • 🧪 Now testing & polishing (bug fixes, pacing, overall feel) — planned Steam release before June

My Role

  • Level & puzzle design, all art & animation, sound design

  • Programming for the Kappa chapter was done in collaboration with a programmer partner
