EXSTETRA Update Now Available, Including Bug Fixes

An update for the Steam version of EXSTETRA, including bug fixes and various adjustments, is now available.

BUG FIXES

■ Fixed an issue where DLC-exclusive items could drop under unintended circumstances.

■ Fixed an issue where graphics might not display correctly when the refresh rate was set above 60 Hz.

■ Fixed issues that could cause the game to crash.

*Please note that the crashing issue may not yet be resolved on some PC configurations. We will continue investigating the issue and working to identify its cause.

*For users experiencing crashes while using a Radeon Series Graphics Cards, the following steps may help resolve the issue:

1. Delete your save data.

2. Use AMD Cleanup Utility or DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to completely remove the graphics driver, then restart your PC.

3. Roll back the driver to Adrenalin 25.12.1 (WHQL Recommended / December 2025 release).

*If you are using a laptop or all-in-one PC, please check the drivers and related information provided by your PC manufacturer before proceeding.

ADJUSTMENTS

■ As a temporary measure for crashes occurring after launching the game in "Fullscreen" mode, we have adjusted the startup flow so that the title screen is displayed before the opening movie plays.

This allows users to open the Settings menu from the title screen and change “Screen Mode” to “Windowed” in order to switch to windowed mode.

We will continue making fixes and adjustments as needed, including addressing other issues that are currently under investigation.
