removedThere have been a lot of recent comments and complaints regarding the second demo for the game looking like a copy of Subnautica. I am deeply sorry this is how a lot of people feel about the current demo. I want to create a unique and enjoyable game for everyone, and it seems I have failed in this regard with the current demo, so I have taken the decision to remove it from Steam.
changedI also would like to address some false accusations that have been circulating around: all of the assets in game are our own creation and have not been generated with AI or taken from anywhere else in any shape or form. Some assets are bought from the asset store, mostly regarding some of the music and sound effects, I hope that helps clear out some of the confusion.
addedI have a real passion for creating alien worlds and want to create a beautiful world to explore, one that everyone can enjoy and that has its own voice, and I know I can do this. This is why I have decided to rework the game from scratch, changing the aesthetic, UI, biomes and everything about the game starting today. I will post another announcement once this new prototype will be ready.

My name is Petru and I am the solo developer behind Exonautis, I take full responsibility for having made a demo that has generated so much online hate. I am deeply saddened to see this and am disappointed in myself for having let it arrive to this point.
