VR Racers!

We're super excited to watch you jump into an EXO car and hit the track today. Important information in this post will help you get a smooth first experience with the game.

1. Game Modes Explained

EXOcars features multiple game modes to suit different racing fans and keep it fresh.

Career (aka Asynchronous Multiplayer)

In this mode, you race against not some AI opponents, but 'ghosts' of real players who have already completed the track. Opponents are matched to your skill level, ensuring you get a fair and fun challenge.

You will race through 9 different biomes to unlock all tracks, earn rewards, and climb the leaderboards. The core value is in replayability: this mode lets you progress organically, honing your skills against increasingly challenging opponents every time you replay a track — without the need to be online every day.

And for obvious reasons, car collisions are disabled in this game mode.

Real-time Multiplayer Racing

Play with up to 3 friends or random players. Car collisions can be set ON or OFF in the lobby settings.

Real-time Multiplayer Combat

It's a 4-player fun alternative mode! While racing, players can pick up weapons from boxes along the track, each providing a unique power-up.

Attack the opponent overtaking you with a homing missile or a volley of rockets! Slow down your rivals and speed yourself up! Defend against players behind you using mines and a shield!

In this mode, players can have all the fun they want, pushing opponents off the track and battling their way to victory! But stay alert—your rivals won’t go easy on you!

Tournament Mode

Limited-time events with real prizes and an entry fee in in-game currency earned in other game modes. The first big tournament is scheduled for November 28, so stay tuned and follow XOCUS on socials or Discord for more details.
