Hey everyone!

tl;dr: The Excremental Game Demo is now live on Steam!

Nearly two months ago, we had this very dumb idea: make an incremental game about poop and call it Excremental Game. It started as a dumb little joke project - something we worked on for about a week before uploading it to itch. But a surprising number of people played it, enjoyed it, and shared a ton of helpful feedback. That’s when we decided it deserved a bit more love.

Alongside launching the Steam page, we also ran a public playtest here on Steam. Over the past 20 days, it’s seen far more players than we ever expected, which helped massively with identifying balance issues, squashing bugs, and even rethinking some core design decisions.

Now the game has reached a state we're genuinely happy with, and the demo has officially launched.

If you already tried the playtest, there’s still plenty of reason to jump back in. Beyond general polish and bug fixes, the skill trees have been expanded with new upgrades that encourage more active play.

And yes, the demo includes Steam achievements too!

Thanks so much to everyone who’s played, tested, and shared feedback so far. The game honestly wouldn’t be what it is today without that support, and we're super excited to finally share this demo with you all. <3
