Huge Update!

This update is massive. If I listed everything that was added or changed, the list would easily pass 200 items, and no one would want to read all of that, so here’s a short summary of the most important changes.

addedThis update is massive. If I listed everything that was added or changed, the list would easily pass 200 items, and no one would want to read all of that, so here’s a short summary of the most important changes.
addedThe game has been upgraded from UE4 to UE5 , and it now takes advantage of several of the new Unreal Engine 5 features.
changedA new Art Direction has been introduced across the game. The Hub has been redesigned to match this new style, and you can see the differences in the screenshots below.
addedEnvironmental objects have been added to help tell more of the game’s backstory.
addedThe intro sequence has been completely remade with a new direction and does a much better job explaining the story compared to the original version.

  • The Hub itself now contains NPCs that provide more details about the story and the world.

  • Environmental objects have been added to help tell more of the game’s backstory.

  • The intro sequence has been completely remade with a new direction and does a much better job explaining the story compared to the original version.

  • The main menu map has also been redesigned from the ground up. Instead of being just a menu space, it now helps introduce parts of the game's story right from the start.

  • New blood effects have been added that can cover large parts of the arena during boss fights.

  • Most of the boss arenas have been redesigned from scratch to better fit the new art direction.

  • Boss fights now include voice lines during combat, adding more personality and intensity to the encounters.

  • Enemy AI in the linear levels has been improved.

  • Several gameplay mechanics have been refined to make the overall experience smoother.

  • A large number of bugs have been fixed throughout the game.

  • There is also an"Experimental" physics system that allows parts of a boss arena to be destroyed during a fight. At the moment, this feature only appears in a small section of the tutorial boss fight.
