Sorry it took us so long. And thank you for waiting! To the precious souls who have been waiting since the dawn of time, when dinosaurs were still knapping stone tools; to the curiosity- and courage-filled adventurers who played the demo; and even to the infinitely benevolent video creators who graciously shared their gloriously scuffed gameplay footage with the world: To those meeting us for the first time through this notice, and those meeting us for the first time through the PV—welcome! *EULA* is a visual novel made by developers who received far more anticipation than this little game had any right to inspire—and consequently found themselves bursting with excitement, pressure, and responsibility. So naturally, they threw out the game they had already finished, then spent roughly one month crashing and clattering their way through development while chanting, “My body is made of energy drinks.” ※ The PD got in a lot of trouble after every last piece of art they had worked so hard on was scrapped. ※ The PM got in a lot of trouble after every last bit of story they had worked so hard on was scrapped, too. Noisy, rowdy, crash-bang-chaotic, crinkly-smooth— together with a pair of twins and one slightly clumsy Giraffe, you’ll turn a page in the everyday life of an artist trying to ride the waves of the AI era. At heart, the scenario is packed with shamelessly personal tastes—but it also contains a fair helping of serious thought... So we would be incredibly, tremendously grateful if you could look upon it kindly and enjoy it for what it is. Rekon \[subject marker pending] would like to thank everyone who took an interest in the game. ※ We made Rekon do this because Rekon likes funny stuff, but apparently “the thank-you comes first.” As if Rekon doesn’t love jokes too~ Giraffe would like to thank an anonymous physics student who cheered him on through all those sleepless nights of game development. ※ As the person writing this, I happen to know that the frozen pretzels and the office’s sturdy air fryer were the real unsung heroes keeping him alive. Pongjin would like to thank Mr. Sam Shiftman, Mr. Devo, and everyone at ClosedAI for vacuum-compressing our development schedule through the Codex usage resets they ran at every available opportunity. ※ This one was pretty funny already, so I left it alone. The scenario writer typing this would like to thank Bandori! Yabemujica for replenishing the yuri energy needed to finish the story within our extremely limited time. “Above all, every member of the team offers infinite thanks to *you* for taking an interest in this game.” Every single bit of attention from every one of you came together to make this game possible. ※ This is not a ceremonial platitude. This version exists because you cared, so it is, in the truest and most literal sense, a fact. If only we could have stopped time as well. What a shame... We hope this game becomes a small but happy memory in one passing moment of your everyday life. —Everyone at MoEater
