I Tried My Best to Draw

Honestly, the art in Organic mode is not perfect. It isn't at the level of a professional illustrator. I still remember how much I enjoyed an old Girls' Frontline Children's Day login screen. It was crooked and uneven, but drawn with real effort. I wanted to convey that same feeling. It is aggressive for the story we wanted to tell, but I also thought it fit.

Is imperfection a flaw,

or is that exactly where the value is?

Clean Things

The art in AI mode is clean. The lines are smooth, the colors harmonize, the light feels natural. Anyone would call it pretty. And no one drew it. A prompt was entered, then a few seconds passed. That's all. That is also true. AI images can look prettier. Denying that would make the argument dishonest. Steam post image

Why Make Them Compare?

Why show the two side by side? Especially when one side might look lacking. That is the intention. I thought they had to be compared, even if it felt uncomfortable. Which side do you like more? Why do you like that side more? Thinking about that reason for yourself is part of the question this game asks. Does an imperfect thing have value? Is the complete thing always better? The answer is up to the people who play.
