Branding
• Discord Presence: We've updated the Discord branding and have become an officially verified discord server
New Features
• Quest Markers on World Map: Quest objective markers now display on the world map
• Untarget with Left Click: Added new setting to untarget the current entity by left-clicking empty space • Special Bag Routing: Added logic to directly loot items compatible with a special bag into that bag
Combat & Balance
• Buff Spells: Fixed a bug causing players over level 50 to not receive class buffs
• Mummy World Boss: Added a boss task for Malbem
• Arcane Nexus Riftslicer: Fixed a bug with auto attack damage type
• Pet Regen: Pets now ramp HP/Mana regeneration while out of combat
• Pet Avoidance: Pets now have avoidance from AoE spells, taking reduced damage
• Uncrittable: Players now become uncrittable above 50% armor (may be tuned in the future, share any feedback)
Content Updates
• The Peon: Fixed a bug with the cooked crab stage
• Desert Gate: The gate to the desert has been opened
• Augem: Extended the duration of Augem to last 24 real-world hours
• Ice Fishing: Fixed a bug with Ice Fishing not respecting Hotspot catch bonuses
UI Improvements
• Trading Post: Items with 0 units now hidden; default search changed to alphabetical
• Trade Context Option: Added a "Trade" context menu option to all general vendors
• Chat: Increased message retention to 100 lines
• Infamy: Fixed a bug causing infamy to fail to clear on death
• 16x Ansiotropic Filtering: Enabled this on all terrain textures for higher fidelity, the performance cost should be very low
• Blueprint Bug: Implemented a fix for the missing blueprints bug
• Mouseover Panel Polish: Improved the snappiness/responsiveness of the Mouseover Panel
• Invis Layer Bug: Attempted to fix a bug where the player characters and entities would become invisible when moving up a layer
Performance
• Server Optimizations: Optimized server code for better performance
• Threat System: Further bug fixes for threat clearing on monster respawns
• Memory Leak Fixes: Attempted fixes for any lingering memory leak issues. We will test adding back DX12 next patch and see if we can squeeze 15-25% more CPU performance as a result, assuming memory leaks are gone
Security
• Network Hardening: Extensive security hardening across game server, login server, and networking code NOTE: Yesterday around 10AM, an attacker attempted to compromise the login server; this effort failed and we took the server down to ensure we were adequately protected from this attack vector going forward. We will continue to improve security as we go
