A full-length single player adventure begins in 2026!

  • ESPIONAGE: Play Novel is a visual novel taken to the next level, including:

    • Exploration and Inspecting of its environments

    • Interactive puzzles

    • Branching paths and a relationship system

    • Social deduction gameplay from ESPIONAGE: Mafia Evolved

    • A complete story that serves as the answer to every question introduced by the ESPIONAGE universe thus far and playing out over the course of tens of hours of gameplay

  • Episodic releases of all five chapters will follow on a regular schedule.

  • Owners of ESPIONAGE: Play Novel will unlock exclusive costumes and avatars within ESPIONAGE: Mafia Evolved, as well as have the ability to combine the single-player and multi-player into a seamless experience.

  • All of your favorite characters—and some you haven't yet encountered—feature throughout. Each chapter is played from two unique perspectives as events intertwine and connect in unexpected ways.

  • ESPIONAGEMafia Evolved development and updates will continue! Content including new modes, settings, and modifiers will have joint functionality in the single-player campaign as well as in the multiplayer.
  • This project has been in-development alongside the multiplayer since the project's inception... and is the reason the "P" and "N" were highlighted in the logo from the beginning!

A new update is also now live for ESPIONAGE: Mafia Evolved!

This update brings with it many new user interface updates: costume selection has been streamlined across the game; the Characters and Shop menus are now streamlined; and numerous icons and buttons have been overhauled entirely.

Various Special Ability rebalances are also now live! All deductions of AP Limit have been removed in favor of other penalties or, in cases in which a penalty was deemed unnecessary, not replaced with one. We believe this will help equalize the gameplay experience and ensure players have more strategic opportunities in every situations.

The following Special Abilities were updated:

Hypnotherapy Decrease own AP Limit by 40 to- At the cost of increasing his Suspicion by a third, use a Special Ability that has already been used by another player, except Persuasion & Survival Bias. The penalty for usage is assessed after the Special Ability has resolved.

Nemesis Decrease your own AP Limit by 30 in order to double nominate a player for arrest. At the cost of increasing her own Suspicion, she may now fully fill the Suspicion meter of a target.

Group Therapy At the cost of 30 from his AP Limit- Reduce the Suspicion of all players by the amount of Trust he has with each target.

Persuasion Decrease own AP Limit by 40 to- At the cost of increasing his Suspicion by a third, choose a target who must use a Special Ability during their next turn at the cost of all of their Current AP. Does not count as a normal usage of a Special Ability and previously-used abilities may be used again.

Doomsday At the cost of increasing his Suspicion by a third- A secret target's Special Ability can be chosen. Choose a secret target's Special Ability. If this Special Ability is used during this round or the next, its effects will be canceled and the target's Suspicion will fill to the maximum.

Prime Variable — At the cost of 30 from her AP Limit increasing the user's Suspicion by a third, publicly assign an extra vote to the target in the upcoming Voting Phase, or -1 vote in MARTIAL LAW. The user is also allowed to cast a normal vote. This ability can serve as a nomination if at least one other player is nominated; if not, this effect is canceled.

Curing Bell At the cost of 30 from your AP Limit, Trade your own Suspicion with a target of your choice who will have their AP fully refilled.

Wounded Heart At the cost of 30 from your AP Limit Choose two targets whose Suspicion will be swapped with the other.

Additionally, numerous bug fixes have been implemented across the game.

Another update is right around the corner with another, as-yet-unseen costume coming alongside it!
