Esophaguys changes
New
Added new grueling solo Masochist mode (top-left door in Hub)
Added some toys in the levels to mess around with. And a ball and hoop in the hub 😉
Added beautiful environment art on all levels
Overhauled much of the soundtrack and sfx. Twanging tunes and elderly grunts delight
Added narrative cues so you can learn more about the weird world we're creating
Improvements
You can now play the game on Steamdeck!
Optimized the game for Steam Remote Play Together
General design improvements to all the Esophaball levels
Improved the ascension behaviour so players have a bit more control over it
Added the first of many camera improvements so the level and players get framed more often
Added audio settings so you can adjust volumes individually
FIXES
Reworked the player spawning system. Players can now jump in and out of gameplay with more stability
Adjust terrain a bit in some areas that were just out of reach
Fixed some missing tutorials in the coop levels
Fixed issues with the camera sometimes getting stuck on a checkpoint
Fixed sometimes not dying or getting stuck in levels
