addedThe ‘ Year of the Horse’ outfit brings the traditional brocade shirt and material alongside some dashing horse ears, whilst the ‘ Golden Threads’ option features a horse artwork with Sakura blossoms. ‘ Jockey Wanderer’ is a nod to the popular horse racing event around the Chinese New Year and includes a ‘922’ patch in reference to an elusive Backrooms level. ‘Lion Dance Wanderer’ takes the iconic designs from this street celebration to make a fun outfit including a full head cover. ‘Brocade Wanderer’ reflects traditional Chinese garments, and ‘ Lantern Wanderer’ uses a pattern showing the lights that symbolise new beginnings and good fortune. Perhaps it’ll help keep those Skin Stealers at bay...
addedThe six costumes are free and available to all players, available in the usual spot to switch up your Wanderer’s look, first added in December’s Winter Wanderer update. Alongside these additions, the update will also have more fixes and improvements driven by community feedback. We’ll share up the patch notes on February 12.
addedLooking further forward, the crew are busy at work with plans to continue expanding Escape the Backrooms. This includes brand new levels, which are currently in their design phase! We’re also working hard on the required tweaks to launch Escape the Backrooms on consoles, and will share more information on this as soon as it’s locked in.

With the Year of the Horse beginning on February 17 this year, some costumes and patterns in the update are inspired by this animal, along with other traditions of the Spring Festival celebration –combined of course with an Escape the Backrooms twist…
