Hi Escapers!
We’re so glad to see players having fun with the Mayan DLC and diving into the new rooms! It’s always amazing to see how creative and engaged our community is. A big thank you to everyone who reported bugs and helped us improve the game.
We also want to say how incredibly grateful we are for the warm welcome you've given to Escape Simulator 2. Seeing the community's excitement has been amazing—it truly means the world to us. Thank you for your support!
Now, onto the updates! Here’s what’s new with this hotfix:
Changelog:
Resolved bugs in puzzles involving the feather, post-it notes, and plates.
Adjusted running and walking speed for better pacing (You can also adjust walking speed in the options > advanced > movement speed)
Resolved various out-of-bounds issues, including the snake model and upstairs areas.
Fixed several checkpoint bugs across rooms for smoother progression.
Updated multiple translations.
- Improved shader functionalityAdded "FalloffMultiplier" to the "ProjectorTransparency" shader for adjustable falloff opacity.
- Enhanced main menu stabilityFixed issue where double-clicking tabs or packs could prematurely open levels.
Fixed multiplayer puzzles not triggering in certain cases.
Low-poly optimizations for rocks, foliage, statues, and interactive objects. (you can turn on additional optimizations in the options>graphics)
Fixed radar stuck bug and controller issues with cages.
Added new 4x4 white texture.
Tweaked palm assets for consistency and visual improvements.
