Hello space web surfers! As stated last month, we were scheduled to punch demo v2 into your hands by early July (that's now). So is it ready?? Yes.

But...
Over the last stretch I made a call to finalize the entire render pipeline first.
The reason: I want the demo, the release trailer, and every screenshot you'll see from the demo relaunch on to hit the same quality bar as the final release. Rushing the demo out with the same old placeholders I'd have to redo anyway didn't make sense.
So we are rebuilding the entire cosmic imagery from the ground up: every background, every environment, every sprite, every combat asset, and both erotic scenes from the demo.
CONSEQUENCES:
New ETA for Demo v2 = on or around July 15th.
Every image you see from the relaunch onwards = ship quality.
Sheriff Orgivan = still stoic, now painting.
