Over a span of forty-five days, you will plan your daily actions, explore locations and rumors across the city, advance character events, and gradually approach the truth hidden within Zhaoque.

A Romance Plan with a Deadline

Each in-game day is divided into multiple periods, including early morning, morning, afternoon, night, and late night.

Time is limited, so you cannot complete every goal. Will you build up resources first, or push an important event forward? Will you visit a certain character, or investigate a newly surfaced rumor? Every small choice you make each day will slowly weave together into your own route.

Zhaoque City Unfolds Over Time

Events in Zhaoque City are not simply waiting for the player to click on them.

Date, time period, location, character state, relationship stage, prerequisite events, and resource conditions all affect whether an event appears. Some characters will show up at specific places at specific times, while certain clues require you to discover them at the right moment. Because of that, watching schedules, reading hints, and planning your route will be an important part of the game.

Every Resource Affects Who You Can Get Closer To

You will need to manage several types of resources:

• Time: the most important resource. Every period deserves careful planning.

• Stamina: affects consecutive actions, so you will need to rest at the right time.

• Money: can be used to buy items, give gifts, recover, or obtain information.

• Growth attributes: knowledge, grace, courage, self-control, and sentiment affect some actions and event requirements.

• Relationships: build trust with key characters and gradually unlock more personal events.

These resources do not exist in isolation. Work can bring in money, but it costs stamina and time. Investigation may uncover clues, but it may also raise risk. Visiting a character can advance your relationship, but it also means you may miss something happening somewhere else.
