ErMa (Early Mammal) changes
Our first post-release patch, and so soon too! Fortunately, the game wasn't BROKEN, there were just some early feedback matters that needed tweaking.
Fixes:
Picking up meat on the ground could be a bit finnicky. The detection hitbox has been enlarged significantly, and an oversight that could cause Erma to ignore food even when in range has been corrected.
The "look far" keybinding button did not work due to a misassigned value.
Tweaks:
Erma's turning radius has been tightened up by a good bit. I wanted to keep the feeling of inertia and the skill mastery required to chase down small prey efficiently, while also making her a bit more responsive to control.
To the same end, she now makes 180 degree turns even faster. This is especially noticeable when taking off from a standstill.
A "toggle sprint" option was added to the control menu. This does about what you'd imagine; by default you hold shift to sprint, but with this option turned on, you instead press shift to toggle between walking and sprinting.
