Game Release Date Pushback

Hello everyone my name is Eric and I'm the solo developer for SMIRKSMILEGRIN GAMES! This is notification of a pushback for the release of ERICANSKINSMONSTERS.

Repeated intro

Hello everyone my name is Eric and I'm the solo developer for SMIRKSMILEGRIN GAMES! This is notification of a pushback for the release of ERICANSKINSMONSTERS. I really haven't had much community involvement, but allow me to toss some information that may shed some light on this game. So why the game name? Well 8 years ago I met my wife and got her into gaming. The first game she really ever played on PC was Elder Scrolls Online. Until then she was playing Nintendo 64 in her studio. Her first character she ever named in ESO was Ericanskinsmonsters and it has remained her main character for 8 years. She doesn't know why she came up with that name she just winged it and liked it. Since this was my first game I'd be releasing I thought why not start with a simpler engine and come up with a back story for the name Ericanskinsmonsters and make it an old school rpg. Well I have made a lot of random games in the past usually for my daughter's birthday or for fun, but this is my first actual game to release and I'm solo developing it. So why the release pushback? Well I set a goal that I thought was achievable, however due to changes to the game and personal choices, I'm unfortunately going to attempt a new launch around mid October. I've already added an additional 10 maps with more bosses/abilities/monsters to conquer which I believe was needed to tie my story together. Something just wasn't flowing but more additions will come and I'll be spending most of my time tweaking abilities and balancing the monsters in combat. I won't be revealing any new storyline besides what I already posted on steam. I'll be sending out beta keys to have a small test group to help me find bugs probably in August. If you are interested in helping during the beta then keep a lookout for an update on my YouTube. @SMIRKSMILEGRINGAMES (I appreciate the support and I hope to make a very enjoyable RPG:)!
