This is Part 6 of the EreaDrone Road to 1.0 UI Update! Last time, we brought you a new ground station, upgraded the Carpark and Chateau Environments and improved the Rate Profiles menu! Now, let's look at what's new for today!
🆚 New Multiplayer Menu

We've improved the Multiplayer Lobby menu! You can now better see all the available lobbies for you to join, and create your own.
You can also see at a glance the current map, pilots that are present and the gamemode!
We're almost done with the UI update! We only have the Tournament Menu and the Escape screen left, and then we can move on to the next part of the Road to 1.0.
⚠️ Notice to Linux Pilots 🐧
As you may know, EreaDrone does not have an official Linux build. However, we recently made the game available to be run using Proton, up to the latest updates. While this is way more usable than before, this version still has some important problems, that we are actively trying to solve in the next updates. We are also not targeting the SteamDeck as of yet, so the game might run poorly on that hardware.
If you experience any issues when running the game using Proton, please contact us via proton@ereadrone.com.
Known Issues when using Proton on Linux:
Degraded performance on higher graphics settings on bigger maps, and worse performance in general when compared to running the game in Windows
Singleplayer mode does not load (issue with internal server). Temporary fix: Open a multiplayer lobby, and fly there
Replay Video Export works, but is much slower than it should be
The default Screenshot/Replay export folder is in the Proton simulated Windows file system, which is hard to access. You can change the Media export folder in the settings to a more convenient place
The game sometimes defaults to your keyboard as a controller. In the options, please select your controller
🔩 Bug fixes and improvements 🛠️
Fixed the Procedural Gates displaying incorrectly when using the game on a French (or other non-point-decimal locale) computer
Removed the Hariton Zoe track from the license-free OST available through the Content Creator mode, to avoid any DMCA issues on platforms such as Youtube
Fixed flickering and outlines not showing up in the Track Editor due to TAA or Upscalers
Changed the Race Finish animation to an LOS point of view at the last gate
Fixed some flickering causes by the FishEye effect in certain modes
[Linux] Video clips should now display correctly instead of color bars
Optimized some background fetching of multiplayer lobbies
