EQUILIBRIUM changes
Governing is complicated enough already. Doing it in a language that isn't your own is even more so.
Most strategy simulators launch in English, and those who don't master it are left to fend for themselves. With EQUILIBRIUM, we chose a different path.
As of today, the game is fully localized into 7 languages: Italian, English, German, French, Spanish, Chinese, and Russian. And when we say "fully," we don't just mean the menus. We mean the end-of-turn reports, the events, the crises, the advisors who speak to you, the bills, the Parliament's verdicts. You govern Germany in German, China in Chinese, with debt calculated in your country's currency — dollars for the United States, pounds for the United Kingdom, yen for Japan.
Not a surface-level translation. The entire game, in your language.
What that means in practice
Every nation now has its own real Parliament: correct seat counts, coherent coalitions, recognizable political forces. Every nation speaks its language and counts in its currency. The same event — a debt crisis, a parliamentary vote, a strike — you experience it through the words, numbers, and institutions of the country you're leading.
It's the kind of work that doesn't show up in a promotional screenshot, but that you feel on every turn, when the game speaks to you as if it were yours.
And those who support us deserve their language
There's one thing we believe: every country that adds us to its wishlist deserves to play EQUILIBRIUM in its own language.
Among those who follow us, the Turkish community is one of the most active and passionate. That's why we say it plainly: Turkish is joining the development roadmap, planned for October.
This isn't an empty promise. It's the same commitment we made for Canada and Australia when you asked us for them — and kept, by making them playable. We listen to those who support us, and we act accordingly.
The game grows, every week
In the last few weeks alone: 42 playable nations, real Parliaments and ministries, a dedicated currency for each nation, dozens of fixes to the economic and political engine. EQUILIBRIUM isn't a frozen project — it's an open construction site that moves forward with every version.
A small gesture, to help us get there
EQUILIBRIUM is developed by a single person. If the project intrigues you, following us is the simplest way to help us grow:
🎮 Discord — our community, where you can suggest ideas and request your language
📸 Instagram · 🎵 TikTok — development behind the scenes
And, if you haven't already, the gesture that counts most:
⭐ Add EQUILIBRIUM to your wishlist on Steam.
That's what truly helps us reach the Early Access launch, on September 10.
New devlog every two weeks, until launch.
Next time: why in EQUILIBRIUM you can't break the treaties you've signed — the engine that knows the rules of the geopolitical game.
