changedAfter the release of the game, I took a small break and then began working on the console port of the game for both Xbox One and Playstation 4. These ports have taken much longer than anticipated as a solo developer, and one thing that ended up needing to happen was a major engine upgrade. The engine upgrade was about 3 years apart, and thus this took a ton of time to get up and running again on both Windows and Mac. We also implemented a lot of infrastructure as a studio to better situate ourselves for more regular updates that are easier to produce for both platforms and future products, which was a major bottleneck previously.
fixedI'm happy to say that Epitasis is now running on the latest version of Unreal Engine 4, and with it comes major stability and bug fixes. In addition, a major complaint - lighting during night time - has been fixed, with the lighting at night now being totally revamped across the entire game.
