Hello everyone! It’s been a while. I’ve been hard at work on an update… which turned into something much bigger than expected. In fact, I ended up re-coding the entire game from the ground up.

  • The rest of the menus will be revealed in the update video

  • All ships have been completely rebuilt using Shipshaper

  • New ship movement system

  • Ironclads can now damage each other (for balance)

  • Time controls: pause, play, and fast-forward

  • A new game mode: Campaign

    • Start with 6 points

    • Gain +1 point per win

    • Keep going until you lose

    • Currently includes Age of Sail, with Ironclad Campaign coming later

Other improvements:

  • Removed the old top/bottom ship UI — now it’s just a clean bottom bar

  • Ships now auto-assign teams when placed

  • Updated camera system

    • Placement works the same

    • Battles now use a free cam

I’m aiming to release ENBS 2.0 later this month if all goes well —just a few things left to finish up.

I can’t wait for you all to see it.

See you on the seas, o7
