For our awesome community: some may be wondering, why make the Prelude free? One of the things we think many are aware of is that Eon Altar is a very...unique game. Maybe a bit weird, even. For those who took the plunge into Eon Altar nearly sight unseen, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We honestly couldn't have made the game we have so far (and keep making!) without your continued support and input. Between using mobile controllers and the unique playstyle Eon Altar presents that seems to defy traditional marketing, many folks are hesitant to drop money on the game, and we don't really blame them. So by allowing people to play the Prelude for free, it gives folks a chance to try Eon Altar for themselves and hopefully decide that our quirky game is worth the plunge.
