Enso changes
First of all, thank you to everyone who has purchased Enso since it released a week ago! I hope you have been enjoying your time with the game <3
I've been working hard this week to fix some minor issues I had with the game, and also to add something new:
Achievements!
I've never implemented Steam Achievements into a game before so I'm crossing my fingers that all of this works! If you have any bugs please write to me here on Steam in the Community Hub or come and find me on Discord.
There are now a total of 26 achievements, some are secret and might take a little searching to uncover ;)
Improvements
Made the tutorial go back to the main menu if launched from the main menu.
"Any button" no longer skips the congratulations scene, now the player must press escape. This should stop people skipping the stats screen by accident.
Improved layout of the congratulations scene.
Changes to the level design
Modify the right-hand passage of the dragon so that it is less scary and punishing.
Modified the first high jump-up so that the ball naturally sits closer to the rock the player needs to bounce off and made the opposite side of the rock a simple ramp.
Made the climb out of the cave more forgiving.
Made it harder to fall into the cave.
Added a sticky rock at the top of the right-most climb-up just before the temple.
Fix little spot in cloud above windmill where players could get stuck.
Fix little spot on dragon's back where the player should be able to sit but the ball would roll away.
Bug fixes
Fix delay when pausing the game for the first time caused by needing to load the blur shader.
Zoom back in if you pause while zoomed out.
