  • Performance
changedAt the moment, I’d recommend Low or Medium settings with the resolution slider set to about halfway . With that setup, I’ve been getting around 30–40 FPS , with the occasional dip depending on where you are in the world.
changedWe’ll definitely be improving this over time. As we expand the world and tighten things up, performance on Deck will continue to get better. We've also been making sure that Low settings still look really close to High , so you’re not losing the vibe or atmosphere of the world when you dial things down.

Hi all,

Now that our first open playtest is live, I wanted to talk a bit about Enfant on Steam Deck.

From the start, Enfant has been built as a controller-first experience, and getting it running well on Steam Deck has always been high on our list. We’ve done some early testing on the Deck with the current build, and while we’re still right at the beginning of our optimisation journey, it’s already in a pretty playable state.

Thanks so much for jumping into the playtest and giving the game a try. Every bit of feedback helps us shape where Enfant goes from here.
