Endless RPG Toolset Now Supports D&D 2024

The Endless RPG Solo Play Toolset now allows you to choose D&D 2024 as a system. You can also choose D&D 5e as an expansion, which brings in any creatures or items from 5e that aren't included in D&D 2024. This includes choosing expansion books like Tasha's Cauldron of Everything or Xanathar's Guide to Everything.

When you are ready to make the jump, simply go into Settings and choose the new system. Remember, you cannot change your system while you have a map active.

Notes on the D&D 2024 update:

• Creatures who can level up in a class such as orcs, goblins, drow, etc., will follow the progression included in the 2024 Player's Handbook, including learning new spells added with the edition.

• While most classes stick to the 2024 ruleset, the wizard class still allows creatures to specialize in schools not available with the D&D 2024 ruleset such as Enchanter. This has been done to ensure that fighting against evil mages has a wide variety of encounters.

• The Monster Manual 2025 update did away with the humanoid category in favor of placing various humanoids in other categories such as goblins moving to fey and gnolls moving to fiends. Endless RPG will still have these creatures under the humanoid category. I feel this is easiest when navigating the app and picking out enemies.

• Orcs are included! Don't worry, orcs aren't going anywhere in Endless RPG. Along with Drow elves and Duergar dwarves, orcs are one of many humanoids that can be chosen as an enemy. They can also level up in classes to present a better challenge.
