Repeated intro
Hello everyone, Version 0.2.0 is one of the larger content updates for ALICE so far. This update introduces a brand-new Final Boss challenge, new character content for Mia, new achievements and unlock objectives, along with adjustments to bosses, enemies, items, audio, UI, localization, and the Bug Report system. Because this is a large-scale update, unexpected issues may still occur under different PC environments, multiplayer conditions, or older save data, even though testing has been completed. If you encounter any serious bugs after updating, please use the in-game Bug Report feature first by pressing F10, or temporarily switch to the Rollback version. • Added new Takehime skin: “Reverse Bunny” • Free Claim, Unavailable after Early Access. 【New Content】 • Added the Final Boss challenge: “E.C.I.L.A” Steam post image • A brand-new high-difficulty challenge is now available. • A special entrance leading to the Final Boss battle will appear during gameplay progression. • Added a dedicated stage, scene presentation, audio, and visual effects for E.C.I.L.A. • E.C.I.L.A features a combat rhythm and special actions unlike previous enemies. • Players will need to observe, judge, and find ways to respond during the battle. • Completing the challenge will unlock related rewards and achievement content. • Added new character: “Mia” Steam post image • Mia is currently a work-in-progress character. • Her skills, stats, controls, awakenings, and visual presentation may still be adjusted based on testing results and player feedback. • If you encounter skill issues, control problems, or feel that her numbers are too strong or too weak, please report them through the F10 Bug Report system or Discord. • Character Role • Mia is a sniper-type character who fights using “Aerogel” technology. • Her core gameplay revolves around long-range shooting, weak point marking, aerial mobility, and stealth burst damage. • Mia can use Aerogel smoke and Aerogel trails to create paths in the air that she can stand on. • Compared to other characters, Mia places greater emphasis on positioning, aiming accuracy, and attack timing. • Once mastered, she can continue moving at high altitude and suppress enemies from a safe distance. • Combat Features • The farther, the stronger: Mia excels at dealing high damage from long range. • Weak Point Pierce: Mark enemy weak points through aiming, then use piercing shots to deal burst damage. • Aerial suppression: Use Aerogel to create footholds in the air and attack from above. • Stealth attacks: Enter stealth through her passive and special skill to find better attack opportunities. • Aerial routes: Mia can step on Aerogel smoke or Aerogel projectile trails to change the way she moves. • Passive: Ambush Protocol • Increases the damage cap by one digit. • After standing still for 2 seconds, Mia enters stealth. • Best used to find an advantageous position before combat, then open with a high-damage attack. • Normal Attack: Burst Shot Steam post image
Used when not scoped in. • Fires two high-pressure energy rounds. • Each round deals 250% damage. • Cannot critically hit. • After attacking, Mia requires a short reload time. Reload time is affected by attack speed. • Normal Attack: Weak Point Pierce • Used after scoping in. • Fires a powerful piercing round. • Pierces through all marked weak points. • Deals 250% damage. • After attacking, Mia requires a short reload time. Reload time is affected by attack speed. • Secondary Attack: Weak Point Detection Steam post image
Activates a high-powered scope and enters Weak Point Detection mode. • Weak points will randomly appear on enemies. • When the crosshair passes over a weak point, that weak point will be marked. • After using Weak Point Pierce, weak points will be generated again. • Use the skill again to turn off the scope. • Larger enemies can generate more weak points. • Primary Skill: Aerogel Smoke Bomb Steam post image
Creates an area of Aerogel smoke. • Mia can stand on top of the smoke as a foothold. • When used in the air, the smoke will be generated directly beneath Mia’s feet. • Ultimate Skill: Aerogel Bullet Steam post image
Changes Mia’s next Burst Shot or Weak Point Pierce into an Aerogel Bullet. • Aerogel Bullet deals 2000% damage. • The bullet creates a trail that can be stepped on. • The trail lasts for 7 seconds. • It can be used to create aerial paths, allowing Mia to quickly reposition during combat. • Special Skill: Stealth Dash Steam post image
Activates tactical camouflage and enters stealth. • Increases movement speed by 80%, decreasing over time. • Lasts for 3 seconds. • While stealthed, using Burst Shot or Weak Point Pierce causes that attack to deal double damage. • Jumping and Aerial Mobility • Mia has a basic jump. • By using Aerogel smoke and Aerogel trails, she can create footholds in the air. • Mia Awakenings • Expanding Agent • Increases the size / width of the Aerogel created by Aerogel Smoke Bomb and Aerogel Bullet. • Aerogel area is increased to 1.5x. • Delayed Formula • Extends the duration of the Aerogel created by Aerogel Smoke Bomb and Aerogel Bullet. • Aerogel duration is increased to 1.5x. • Aerogel Capacity Up • Extends the trail path created by Aerogel Bullet. • Trail length is increased to 1.5x. • Pierce Damage Up • Each weak point pierced by Weak Point Pierce further increases its damage. • After each weak point is pierced, subsequent damage is increased by 1.1x. • Piercing Blast • Weak Point Pierce creates an explosion each time it pierces a weak point. • Improves Mia’s ability to suppress groups of enemies. • Distance Compensation • Hitting a weak point from more than 2000 distance away reduces the cooldown of Aerogel Bullet. • Each trigger reduces the cooldown by 2%. • Bounty Hunter • Grants extra money each time Mia hits a weak point. • Can only trigger once per unit. • Ricochet Round • After Weak Point Pierce passes through an enemy, it ricochets back to deal damage again. • The ricochet hits the first target struck. • Gravity Module • Grants aerial slow-fall ability. • Press F to descend quickly. • Nimble Movement • Increases Mia’s evasion ability. • Level 1: Evasion +30 • Level 2: Evasion Rate +60 • Level 3: Evasion Rate +120 • Mobility Shoes Upgrade • Grants quick start movement. • Ignores fall damage. • Ignores traps. • Slope Training • Greatly increases the angle Mia can walk on while standing on Aerogel. • Allows Mia to move more reliably along Aerogel paths. • Tactical Item • Tactical Item tag +1. • Weak Point Amplification • Enlarges weak points on enemies. • Makes weak points easier to aim at and mark. • Weak Point Insight • Increases the number of weak points on enemies. • Gives Mia more weak points to mark and pierce. • Quick Aim • Greatly shortens the time required to scope in and cancel scoping. • Allows Mia to switch between Burst Shot and Weak Point Pierce more quickly. • Explosive Round • Normal attacks create an explosion on hit. • Improves Mia’s ability to clear groups of enemies. • Ally Footing Protocol • Teammates can also stand on the Aerogel created by Mia. • Turns Aerogel from a personal mobility tool into a team movement platform. • Variable Scope • Grants access to a low-magnification scope. • Magnification can be controlled using the mouse wheel. • Added new Mia skin: “Uniform” • Unlock by completing the Mia Mastery achievement. • Points of Interest • Added new interactable object: Quest Core Each normal stage map has 3 to 4 fixed locations.
