Empyreus changes
After receiving some of your feedback, we decided it was worth expanding the game with a few additions and fixes.
This update introduces a simple score system, along with point items and graze points to reward more daring play.
On top of that, we’ve made several quality-of-life improvements to help make this short experience smoother and more enjoyable overall.
We’re looking forward to seeing how high of a score you can reach.
Full devlog:
-Added score system
-Added point items
-Added graze mechanic
-Added 2 seconds of invulnerability after using a bomb
-Added visual feedback for invulnerability after respawn
-Added a notice when attempting to use keyboard input in Angel’s Hand mode
-Rocks can no longer be destroyed by shooting
-Bombs now deal 10 damage to bosses
-Fixed a window transparency issue that appeared on some systems (hopefully)
-Removed the "unsightly" flower sprite that never should’ve been in the game in the first place
-Minor fixes and tweaks
