Time sure flies, and summer is already upon us… The colony is now bustling with activity in anticipation of the upcoming Summer Update! We have planned quite a few additions to improve your experience with Empire of the Ants, but today we will focus on one in particular:
Stand Your Ground in Horde Mode
Our new Horde Mode will let you play solo or co-op against unending waves of enemies. Waves grow stronger and stronger, and are always composed differently.
We have worked hard to ensure that the waves are both interesting and sufficiently random, so that you never know what to expect. Some will be very fun to see, and our new unit will also make an appearance! (More information about that unit at a later date ;) )
In co-op, you will each have your nests, which means you won’t be able to interact with the nests of your ally. That being said, you can (and SHOULD!) defend all nests: yours and theirs. Your powers will affect your ally’s units as well, so plan those powers carefully to optimize your run.
Each run will give you a certain number of points. Try to get the highest score possible to see who is the best at defending the colony! Tip: the longer you resist, the more points you will gain. For the next run, try to survive for a few more seconds!
