Empire of Sin - Beta Branch available

Hey Boss,

We are adding an open beta branch to Empire of Sin where you can test the upcoming patch we have been working on, to see if it resolves some of your issues. This beta branch will stay open until we are ready to release the patch to everyone on both PC and console.

If you want to try out the Beta branch, you find the instructions on how to access it below. You can always switch back to the non-beta branch at any time.

How to access the beta branch: Go to your Steam Library. On the right hand side, find Empire of Sin:

Right klick on Empire of Sin in your Steam Library

Go to Properties

Click the “Betas” tab Steam post image In the Beta participation "hamburger menu”, make sure you choose:

Patch-test - Public testing branch for upcoming patch

Steam post image The game should start a new download. Once it is done, you are on the beta branch and you can go ahead and play the game!

Will my progress on the beta branch stay if I play on it and then change back?

Are there any specific things I as a player should keep in mind?
