Update from all of us at Zombie Possum Games.
Since our last update, we've been continuously testing the game to make sure that it lives up to the user experience that we want to have on release day. Chief among the reasons for the delay of the release was that network disconnects and flaky internet connections were not being handled as well as we would have liked. This was unacceptable and was the primary reason we could not get past the Steam approval process. I'm happy to share that we are past this now and Steam has approved our application for release as soon as we decide it is ready. This is a huge milestone that is behind us and release feels closer than it has ever felt.
I want to take a minute to give a shout out to all the friends, family, Train Gamers Association and Darwin's Toys individuals that have been helping us test this past couple of months. We're not this close to release without their help. Their feedback has provided us with data to fix elements of the game that we would not have found on our own. Their testing has clarified handling game rules in a way that we believe keeps this digital version as true to the boardgame experience as possible. Once we click the button so set a release date, we have 21 days from then before the game actually launches. We'll provide updates here when we do. Stay tuned.
