Emblem of Valor changes
Produced by indie game developer “Far Star Studio”, published by indie game publisher Game Bridge, Roguelite strategy card game “Emblem of Valor” undergone series of polishing and changes with feedback from players and community, such as reworking on UI and implementing new challenges, now release Early Access on Steam allowing players to look into the differences from the demo version.
Around 400 unique cards for deck building
《Emblem of Valor》encourages players to adopt diverse strategies and unique combat styles. Including common cards used in battles, cards from five different class as well as dual-class cards, players can explore nearly 400 cards with varying effects and experience different archetype combinations.
5 major maps
Each map has its unique field effect, monster distribution, events and route.
Forest:inhabited by a variety of ferocious beasts and monsters, has a dense and twisted terrain that will impede players' movement and attacks, but it may sometimes also provide cover for players.
Mountain:features harsh weather, including gales, rain, and even lightning strikes. Players must be wary of ambushes from aerial monsters and elemental disasters hidden among storms and rocks.
Swamp:Being poisoned will slow you down, a small spark might lead to a massive explosion. Here, insects and plant monsters gather. Even if the individual entities are very weak, when they gather, they will become a nightmare.
Cave:Full of cave-dwelling creatures and monsters from underground. In the confined environment, the number of plays and actions will be limited.
Ruin:Occupied by undead, specters, and mysterious mechanical creations. Ancient curses and unknown energies reside here, which may cause unexpected mutations to the deck in hand.
Replayability
Collect soul power to repair the Shattered Realm, unlock more levels and boss battles.
Guardian Colossus:Powerful guardians in the depth of ruins, strong resistance to both physical and magic damage.
Bone Dragon:Death defying dragon lurks among the swamps, its flames and claws comes with plaguing venom.
Dive into the stories of each character
We reworked the tutorial, now players can gradually learn more about the backstories of the lone guardians and lost heroes in “Call of the Shattered Realm” mode.
Raising the difficulties
Advanced difficulties:Gradually unlock 10 levels of difficulties every time you clear a stage, each time with new challenges.
Darkmist effect:Navigate through different debuffs caused by different effects of darkmist, testing players’ wisdom and survival skills.
Creative workshop
In the game, players can now access to built-in editor to edit the content of the game, including cards, equipment, characters and monsters. Players who are interested in MODs can also create MOD and upload to Steam’s workshop! We are still hard on work on the function and UI of the editor, and we look forward players feedback and comments. We welcome players from every corner of the world to build and shape this game together!
We will continue to gather player feedback and adjust the game, add new game modes and gameplay, we hope to bring a deck building game that fits players’ demand with the full version in the future!
