changedIt's been a while since we released the demo earlier this year. We've received invaluable feedback from many players and identified areas where the gameplay can be improved. During this time, besides fixing existing issues, we've also been hard at work developing and testing content not shown in the demo, including:
changedDynamic levels and random-generated events - Different difficulties settings and associating monster behavior AI - Card unlocking system - Quest and reward system - Voidmist mechanics - Active character abilities - More diverse cards/equipment/items/skill effects - Numerous balance tweaks and UI adjustments
addedSince the new systems took up most of our small 2-person team's time, we haven't sent regular updates or patches for the demo. We sincerely apologize for that!
addedHowever, the new systems are now largely complete. We're polishing and adding more content, and plan to showcase a more complete gameplay experience at the Steam NextFest next year!
addedIn preparation, we're also designing a new demo with richer content for the NextFest. Due to significant system changes, save files may not be compatible either. To avoid potential issues and reduce maintenance costs so we can focus on the new build, we'll be temporarily taking down the current demo in the coming weeks, estimated to be back up in January.
