Hello everyone, it's me again with the 3rd large scale update for Elewar!

addedIn the previous large updates we've had new spell fusions, we've had new classes, relics and prophecies...
addedWith the amount of content the game has, new stuff isn't even needed anymore, so what am I up to now?
addedAfter you beat the hell realm for the first time, you will unlock a new gamemode - Roguelike mode . This one is very different from the basegame and will hook you with its new set of challenges and it's variety. A new equipment slot is now also available for you through the mode! While available early on the gold and mythril rewards will scale up to the endgame , so you can alternate between the basegame and this new mode whenever you want!

addedadded an alternative game play mode, which will drastically change all the game play rules, providing new challenges, unlocks, a new item type and an additional way to farm in mid and late game.
addedRoguelike game mode: Monsters no longer give exp, the realm no longer has a timer -> instead you choose from different stages with diverse objectives to accomplish (Kill x enemies, survive x sec, collect all objects etc.) and those will also feature a corresponding reward. You progress through the stages with increasingly dangerous encounters while trying to find the best way to scale with the new systems.

After you beat the hell realm for the first time, you will unlock a new gamemode - Roguelike mode. This is the last large scale update for now (At least for the next 3 months), I will provide further fixes and maybe some minor content patches in the next week.

  • Roguelike game modeMonsters no longer give exp, the realm no longer has a timer -> instead you choose from different stages with diverse objectives to accomplish (Kill x enemies, survive x sec, collect all objects etc.) and those will also feature a corresponding reward. You progress through the stages with increasingly dangerous encounters while trying to find the best way to scale with the new systems.
  • There are over 50 handcrafted stages for you to conquer, providing a refreshing new way to experience the game.

  • added 16 new unlocks, all enhancing the new alternative game play mode

  • added a new hidden class: Joker

  • When playing in the new mode, your class will be fixed to be the Joker. This cannot be picked in normal realms, but can be upgraded through new mode unlocks

  • added a new item typeGlove. You can get a new glove when playing in the new mode, provided you have the corresponding unlock. Glove items always drop as legendary and are expensive to craft. They provide positive and negative modifiers (Like boots do), but they can be crafted deterministically (Can craft perfect mods via gold). Mods will have a very high variance, so re-crafting may improve it further.
  • added a visual queue for when players get invulnerability frames (via blessing), same for enemies

  • fixed contamination dps preview bug

  • several other small fixes
