changedWe hired a couple of performance consultants for our other game, Axon TD: Uprising. Thankfully some of the findings there can be applied to Element TD 2! Of particular note is an algorithm change for the unit search function. For those who get low FPS late game, especially in co-op, you will see huge FPS gains.
addedThat algorithm change slightly alters the balance of the game. So we will take the opportunity to do a few tower balance changes (leaning towards buffs). As a result the leaderboards will be reset. We'll also start a new season of Ranked play.
changedOne quality of life change is very noteworthy. This is a long overdue feature that we're lifting from Axon TD. Singleplayer will be able to submit to leaderboards without having to be online. That means no latency when going for leaderboard runs. And also no disconnects.
changedThe update is a few months out so please join the balance discussion on Discord to contribute your feedback in the meantime!
