Electrician Simulator VR changes
Hey Electricians! ⚡
We’re back with a big announcement - one that brings fresh tools, new mechanics, and a whole new reason to spend more time in the virtual garage.
Let’s talk about something we’ve been working on for last weeks: the Workbench Update, arriving in the upcoming patch for Electrician Simulator VR. This isn’t just a small addition! It’s the beginning of a new layer of gameplay designed to expand your skills as a virtual electrician… and maybe even as a fixer-upper in general.
🧰 What Is the Workbench?
In this update, we’re introducing a completely new gameplay feature: the repair system. You’ll now be able to fix broken items using a dedicated work area unlocked inside your in-game home. But wait - there’s more:
These items won’t come out of nowhere. Your dad (yes, the same one with very strong opinions about how things should be done 😅) will regularly send you objects that he thinks can be saved. Some are practical, some nostalgic, and a few… a little suspicious.
To repair them, you'll gain access to a brand-new part of your house - a workshop area with a fully functional repair bench and specialized tools.
🔩 What Can You Do There?
Repairing items isn’t just about pressing a button - you’ll need to roll up your sleeves and do things properly. Here's a taste of the tools and techniques you’ll be using:
🔧 Disassembly – Use screwdrivers to carefully take devices apart without damaging them
🔍 Component Identification – Examine and diagnose faulty parts
⚙️ Replacement & Rewiring – Swap out broken elements with functional ones
🔬 Soldering – Repair connections and bring circuits back to life
🕹️ Testing & Usage – In some cases, fixed items can be used elsewhere… even for fun!
This addition brings a brand-new sense of progression - you're not just installing new things anymore; you're restoring old ones and giving them a second life. It’s the kind of tactile, detailed work that fits perfectly with VR.
🛠️ Why Does It Matter?
We always wanted Electrician Simulator VR to be more than just "a job sim". With the Workbench, we’re expanding the way you interact with the world - giving you reasons to come back to the house, check for new deliveries, and solve small mechanical mysteries piece by piece.
And honestly? It’s just really satisfying to fix something broken and make it work again. Whether it’s a dusty fan, a retro radio, or something you didn’t even know could be saved - that “click” when it powers on again? It hits different.
🗓️ When’s It Coming?
The full patch will go live next week, and we’ll share a complete changelog then - along with more screenshots, bugfixes, and improvements that have been bundled into this release.

Stay charged, stay sharp, and don’t forget to tighten those screws.
