changedSo top line most visible, we modified the Ad and Poll pricing again. We wanted you to feel like you can afford to run more polls and lift the Fog of War more (See the toggle in the top left of the in-game UI!).
addedMuch larger, though, are under the hood effects. We made large changes to how the Ads and Events function. You should be able to target some states now and really be able to make an impact. Tuning is an ongoing thing, especially as we add new features in, and they cause some swings in terms of what you're able to do.
addedWe'll be adding in some tips to help you navigate your way through the user interface
addedWe're working on getting the Hacker in shape so we can add that 3rd agent in!

We introduced some substantial in-game balancing changes today.

  • So top line most visible, we modified the Ad and Poll pricing again. We wanted you to feel like you can afford to run more polls and lift the Fog of War more (See the toggle in the top left of the in-game UI!).

  • Much larger, though, are under the hood effects. We made large changes to how the Ads and Events function. You should be able to target some states now and really be able to make an impact. Tuning is an ongoing thing, especially as we add new features in, and they cause some swings in terms of what you're able to do.

  • If you get the End Turn insufficient funds message, you'll now be told how much you have to cancel.

  • We lowered the time until the Agent Dialogue auto-closes.

We have some further upcoming changes in the next week or so.

  • We've got additional musical tracks we plan to get in

  • We'll be improving the Dialogue System

  • We'll be adding in some tips to help you navigate your way through the user interface

  • We're working on a nicer End-Game experience.

  • We're working on getting the Hacker in shape so we can add that 3rd agent in!

  • Canceling ads currently is inconsistent in terms of the messaging. We aim to make it more informative in terms of the canceling value.

Also, although we've been able to avoid any breaking changes, we'll likely push a patch next week that will invalidate Saved Games. Ironically the reason is we're specifically making changes to our Content to avoid breaking changes in the future. Unfortunately, there's a cost here this time around. Since we're in Early Access, I think there's always some risk of breaking changes, but we'll always do our absolute best to minimize this and always make sure it's accompanied by changes that are of great value to compensate!
