Well its been a very busy January for Ekoh Beach!
+New Reward System
Now when businesses are completed a new reward pop up appears. Players may choose from three rewards: Philanthropy (hearts), Pragmatic (Money, hearts, intel) and Capitalist (Lots O Money - reputation modifier).
+New Starting Building
The game now begins with the Radio station already built. The Radio station interior has been redesigned to include a little socializing area for the town locals. Now all starting characters will socialize on specific days at the Radio Station. Radio station mini-games also enabled from start.
+Starting Characters now already moved in
All starting characters who previously were not moved in (Mara, Jonas, Tessa, Peter) are now moved in by default (their houses are already completed).
+7 Additional Starting Characters
Kyle, Ben, Desmond, Willow, Aspen, Poppy, Marjiam have been added to the starting lineup.
+Interior and Exterior Lighting System Installed
Buildings (including the player house) now have interior lights. All businesses have exterior lights, a light has also been added to all town bridges.
+8 new Cutscenes when townspeople move in
These cutscenes will play when a new house has been built. The owner will properly introduce themselves and pay the player their building fee.
+3 Additional Tutorial Cutscenes
Ken will now properly introduce himself and award the player a pickaxe. Lilith will introduce the Farm and gift the player some potatoes. Peter will gift the player a basic scanner after the player house is completed.
+ A vending machine has been added to the Radio Station.
This will sell a brand new item "Disco Biscuit". This food item dramatically increases player empathy allowing the player to know what a towns person is thinking of on that day (for gifting).
+A New Steam Achievement (Philanthropist) has been added for generous town planners!
+New Dialogue for starting citizens who socialize in the Radio Station.
Various Fixes:
+New cutscene system implemented, this will prevent NPCs from wandering off during cutscenes in future updates. Currently this system is in place for all new cutscenes added in 1.2
+NPC dialog system improved so it should always yield a response even when NPCs are position close together.
+NPC wanted items have been repaired and some will no longer request discontinued items.
--Old bonus system depreciated. Players will no longer be given time based bonuses for completing buildings.
