There's a tutorial at the start of the game. Now we make you do a couple of special moves before getting into the game proper. They're not complicated to do, but for very new players they might take a few attempts to get them right.
There's a recruitment mechanic. Eight Dragons 2 is designed around co-op play, but we all know that sometimes it's hard to grab another player, and sometimes you just want the multiplayer fun without other people. So now you can recruit other characters on the train - one at first, then two characters when your XP gets you to level five, three at level ten, and so on.
