Hello everyone! We are still working away at building Eggstinct! One of the challenges we encountered over the past week was optimizing our physics replication system. Ensuring that when you throw an egg that it properly replicates across the server is super important for this game, because when you're working hard to get a new high score with your friends, you want to make sure that each shot counts right? Being able to pick up and throw your friends, have a Ramosaur smack you into the wall, or an exploding egg send you to the sky; you always want to be in the same place on your friends screen that you are on your screen, so fixing up this system is suuuper important. Optimizing these core components of the game is our priority, and once they feel smooth we'll be able to start work on adding different fun features, which we're super eggcited about doing!
