Eggnog Incorporated changes
Thank you so much for your support and encouragement as we pave the path where no Eggnog game has gone before! We look forward to hearing feedback and watching you play our new content. There won't be any substantial updates until perhaps next December. However, we will still be rolling out minor bug fixes and content in the coming weeks to address some stuff we didn't have a chance to complete for this update.
What's new in this update?
A new home!
You now have a home! At the end of each shift, you drive home and spend some time browsing your computer or doing other household tasks. This involves a new transition scene and a home scene. Here's everything that can be done in our new home scene:
Purchase upgrades for your workstation
Communicate via email to your competitors, boss, and other exciting characters
Purchase cosmetic tweaks for your workstation and your home
Play a mini-game
Manage your finances
More days, more drama!
Previously there were 10 work days that took 6 minutes of real-time to complete. Now, 15 work days take 5 minutes of real-time to complete. This helps us slow down the pace of new eggnogs, new tools, and new information to keep track of. As a consequence of this, we have implemented the following things:
More voice lines! Roughly 15% more voice lines have been recorded. Existing voice lines have all been overhauled to sound a little bit different.
Going to sleep during your shift is optional; you can choose to continue working and potentially earn more money.
Other awesome changes
Added two new cities to choose from. Welcome to Santiago and Berlin!
Added Christmas lights to all scenes
Added more objects to change color based on your selection
Added a discord button to the title screen to socialize with all eggnog enthusiasts
Refactored the flaps containing eggnog information, fixing alignment, size, and mixel issues
The desk has been redone to eliminate mixels and make it look a little bit cozier
Lighting and color correction in all scenes have been tweaked to be a bit more moody
