changedPerformance Update
changedI want to take a moment to acknowledge the performance issues some players have experienced, particularly on lower-end PCs. I’ve been closely monitoring feedback, and it’s clear that optimization is an area that needs improvement. Performance optimization is currently one of my highest priorities, and I’m actively working on changes designed to improve frame rates, reduce stuttering, and provide a smoother experience across a wider range of hardware.
changedThese optimization improvements are planned to be released alongside the upcoming Investigation Mode update, with additional fixes and improvements continuing afterward as needed. Thank you to everyone who has provided feedback and performance reports. Your reports have been extremely helpful in identifying areas that need attention, and I appreciate your patience while these improvements are being developed.
addedFor players who enjoy the anomaly spotting gameplay found in titles such as The Exit 8 and I’m on Observation Duty, the upcoming Investigation Mode will offer a new way to experience Eclipse Anomaly Research. This mode will place players in a new area of the swamp where they must investigate an active anomaly site and carefully observe their surroundings to identify unusual changes and anomalies. More details will be shared as development progresses.
addedI plan to continue supporting Eclipse: Anomaly Research with new content, including additional game modes, anomalies, quality of life improvements, bug fixes, and performance updates. My goal is to improve the game while expanding the experience with new content for players.
