Repeated intro

Hello everyone, I know I know. I am late for the monthly dev log but I do have progress on the game to share with you!

What changed

0 fixes5 additions3 changes0 removals
  • Gameplay
  • Balance
addedWith new sprites for some enemies as well there has been some changes to mimics!
changedMimics will now has a small breathing animation to tell the difference between a chest and a Mimic
addedAnother change is that I added enemy names over the monster, since I am returning to the OG idea of Ebonside and not rushing the remake. I wanted to put more into the enemies.
changedWith those changes, I also reworked trapped chests to have more of a random chance to spawn then set locations and the biggest thing I want to share with yall is something I worked really hard with.
addedNew fast travel!
addedNow you can unlock locations with a new and improved fast travel system! as well as do new content with it!

As you know I was working on the class rework, and I will say that I have most to all the classes remade as well as remaking the beginning of the game!

With new sprites for some enemies as well there has been some changes to mimics!

Mimics will now has a small breathing animation to tell the difference between a chest and a Mimic

Another change is that I added enemy names over the monster, since I am returning to the OG idea of Ebonside and not rushing the remake. I wanted to put more into the enemies.

With those changes, I also reworked trapped chests to have more of a random chance to spawn then set locations and the biggest thing I want to share with yall is something I worked really hard with.

New fast travel!

Now you can unlock locations with a new and improved fast travel system! as well as do new content with it!

With an new sprite for homepoints, I also added the ability and reworked how the warp spell works.

Now the warp spell will work as it does in FFXI. Meaning you can set your homepoint at any other homepoint to set an anchor. Using warp or a return crystal will warp you to the homepoint you had set as an anchor.

With that, I say thank you for the support and this wraps up this months dev log!
