[Important] Notice Regarding Online Features

‘EARTH DEFENSE FORCE 6’ utilizes Epic Online Services (EOS) for its online features.

Effective October 1, 2025, Amazon Web Services (AWS), which is integrated with Epic Online Services (EOS), will change its global certificate signing method.

We wish to inform you that this change may affect some players, potentially preventing online play.

This change will only affect players using Windows who do not have the Amazon Trust Services Root CA certificate stored in their certificate store.

This certificate has been distributed via Windows updates since 2010. However, Windows users who have never connected to a web endpoint signed with this certificate may be affected.

Players who already have the certificate installed will not be affected and will continue to be supported.

For affected Windows players experiencing issues, we provide the following solutions. Please try one of these methods:

• Install the latest Windows updates. This will add the required root certificate.

• If you have the Epic Games Launcher installed, update it and run it at least once after updating.

• Manually install the certificate via Windows by executing specific commands in a Command Prompt window.
