New ModKit Features

  • ModdingMod Prop Camera component has been added to allow for staging of custom cameras in Mod Props, similar to the Blimp Cam.
  • ModdingProp Sub-groups have been added to allow for user-selectable variations of a prop.
  • Modding: A validation step now takes place while compiling your mod, providing warnings if you are missing required configuration or reference.

Minor Changes

  • Volumetric light settings have been revised to allow for higher light limits (especially when using the larger map sizes):

    • Low: Low resolution, max 4096 lights

    • Medium: Medium resolution, max 8192 lights

    • High: Medium Resolution, max 16384 lights

    • Ultra: High resolution, max 16384 lights

  • Modding: Mod Prop Scaler now allows you to lock scaling on local axes.

  • ModdingLight Objects can now be disabled if an associated procbit is not active.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed a bug where Tile variants and ground tiles were not properly using the world seed after re-loading the save

  • Fixed a bug when linear camera movement in photo mode was easing movement.

  • Fixed a bug where the building preview would disappear when holding ALT
