Firstly, a BIG thank you to everyone who has wielded Minutero and dived into our demo! We've been reading all your comments and reviews and it's really helped us focus on where we can make improvements to the world of Duskfade.
With that in mind, we've updated the demo with bug fixes and gameplay tweaks to make slashing, dashing, and grappling feel even more fun!
Changes to the demo include:
Adjustments to character movement (jumps)
Item menu with new effects and icons
Many reported bugs fixed
VFX adjustments
Level adjustments for better navigation
New animations for Zirian (roll + mid-air jump)
New landing animations
What's next for the demo?
Next year the demo will undergo an even bigger transformation! We'll be expanding the content of the demo, introducing more biomes, baddies, and secrets to explore. We can't wait for you to play this version, and we're hard at work getting it ready for early 2026!
Fancy being an indie dev's best friend?
Your thoughts and feelings on your experience with Duskfade has already been a huge help, so please do let us know how you get on. Whether it's in a Steam review or a comment, we're reading them all and it really does make a difference. Thank you!
Hey, we won an award!
Earlier in the month we attended BCN Game Fest with the Duskfade demo and we were totally over the moon to be crowned the winner of the show's Best Game and also Best Sound and Music awards! Thank you to everyone who attended and visited us, we had a blast!
We'll be back soon with more behind-the-scenes updates into Duskfade's development.
Until next time!
