NONBELIEVERS! It's been some time, yes???? Yet today we come with GOOD NEWS. "NEW" Endless Maps (and some campaign ones) are now available for your perusal on the DUSK Steam Workshop along with some updates to the SDK.

This Gloomwood themed map includes music from Gloomwood but sadly no canesword... yet.

Ayy whaddaya somne kinda wise guy? Who said you could bring Switchblade City to DUSK? Oh, da boss did?! Well then, have at it, boys!

This here is actually A PAIR OF MAPS. One Endless and one Campaign style. And they're gonna take a LONG TIME to load so don't go thinkin' your PC is acting up.

Just give it some time, sweetheart. They're worth it!

Doom E1M1​

Speaking of Campaign Maps, looks like someone FINALLY made E1M1 from DOOM in DUSK!

And it even plays Andrew Hulshult's version of At Doom's Gate from IDKFA!

Took ya long enough!

Anyway: DUSK is currently on sale for BOOMSTOCK (It's like Woodstock for Boomer Shooters?) and we're also having a merch sale!

So what's next for DUSK? (Moddable)

Well we're finally gonna get custom weapons and enemies working in the SDK so you can get crowbars and Pinky Demons and and whatever else you want working in DUSK!

We'll even include all the assets from DUSK HD as separate mods on the workshop soon enough!

ONE DAY YOU'LL EVEN BE ABLE TO MAKE DUSK IN DUSK. MAYBE.

Actual SDK Patch Notes:

  • Fixed fonts being f'd up

  • Fixed off-by-1 texture UVs

  • New env_fog entity

  • New trigger_fog entity

  • Fixed point_template spawning issue

  • Fixed endless mode enemy indicator rotation

  • Support for scrolling textures (goldsrc style)

  • Fixed light shaft model on light post entity

  • Mod menu now pulls image from workshop

  • Fixed trigger_secret and func_door custom sounds

  • Music volume changes now apply instantly

  • Level triggers with a missing destination will now go to the menu

  • Updated to Unity 2022.3.46f1

  • Added func_conveyor (does not move objects currently)

  • Corrected func_wall behavior with angles property

  • Removed scary clock

  • Added Size 2 fish
